Your new assignment

As Head of Product Development, you will play a central role in driving and developing Demex's product portfolio. Since the role is new, you will have significant opportunities to influence how work is conducted and which structures are built. You will work both strategically and practically – from taking ideas forward to finished products to developing and improving existing solutions.

You will work in SolidWorks, but the focus lies more on technical understanding and problem-solving than advanced CAD modeling. You will be out in the factory, testing prototypes, following production, and ensuring that function and quality remain at a high level. You will become an important link between production, marketing, sales, and suppliers – and you will actively contribute to creating structure, processes, and future development capacity.

Examples of tasks

• Drive product development projects from idea to launch
• Develop and improve products within fencing, area protection, and gates
• Conduct technical analyses and identify areas for improvement
• Work in SolidWorks with a focus on function and construction
• Collaborate closely with production, marketing, sales, and suppliers
• Contribute to structure, processes, and future development capacity

About you

We believe you have a background in mechanics, automation, or product development and that you thrive in a role where you can combine technology, analysis, and practical work. You are confident in driving projects independently and find it easy to create structure and momentum. You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy being close to the product – both in the CAD environment and out in production.

You have a good understanding of mechanical systems, motors, and automation solutions and are accustomed to working on product improvements. Others describe you as self-reliant, engaged, and structured, and you thrive in an environment where you can take responsibility and make an impact.

We believe you have

• Background in mechanics, automation, or product development
• Experience with CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
• Understanding of motors, automation solutions, and mechanical systems
• Ability to drive projects independently
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Class B driver's license
