Preformance takes prototype and low-volume manufacturing of injection-molded plastic parts to a completely new level. Do you want to work in a fast-paced and eventful environment where you design daily for market-leading customers in the automotive, medical technology, and defense industries? Preformance's design department is growing and securing the future by recruiting an experienced tool designer.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Design of injection molding tools for plastic parts

• Technical specification and dialogue with internal and external stakeholders

• Optimization of tools for quality, cycle time, and lifespan

• Participation in improvement work within the department and related functions

The person we are looking for has extensive experience in complex design, preferably in tool design. You have good knowledge and understanding of 3D modeling and have worked with one of the major CAD programs. You find it easy to get up to speed with new projects, possess good structure, and are meticulous. To thrive and fit in at Preformance, you are a humble team player who enjoys a high-ceiling environment and fast-paced days. You are experienced with office suites and ERP systems, speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English, and work according to the "right in, right out" principle. Experience with Top Solid and injection molding is an asset.

The position is located at Preformance's facility in Öggestorp.
