As a Customer Service Officer at Trafikverket, you will help facilitate the daily lives of residents and businesses across Sweden by contributing to the vital work of road safety.

Responsibilities

Our role at Driver Testing (Förarprov) is to conduct tests within the driver's license and professional transport sectors. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that every customer feels welcome, receives clear information, and has the best possible conditions to demonstrate their skills.

Tasks vary, and the team rotates through different duties throughout the day. In your daily work, you will meet many different customers, so good customer service and clear communication are essential parts of your role. Your duties include the official mandate of conducting knowledge tests in groups, individually, and occasionally with an interpreter. The work sometimes involves a fast pace, so you must be comfortable with that. You will work according to a set schedule, and working at other locations may occur. Your tasks will include:

  • Reception duties
  • Conducting knowledge tests
  • Answering customer inquiries
  • Administration of driver's license photos in connection with driving tests and license renewals
  • Performing general office tasks
Qualifications

Who are you?

You will be our face to the public and the first person our customers meet, so we are looking for a reliable and service-oriented individual who enjoys meeting new people. It is important that you are a communicative person, meaning you convey messages clearly and respectfully while adapting your communication to the recipient. You have a positive attitude and are committed to contributing to good teamwork. Furthermore, you have a flexible and problem-solving approach, able to easily adapt to new circumstances and situations, always with the customer's and organization's best interests in focus.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has completed upper secondary education
  • is at least 23 years old, which is the minimum age to conduct knowledge tests according to the Transport Agency's regulations on appointment to conduct tests
  • has several years of current and relevant work experience with physical customer meetings, such as in reception/customer service/information desks with frequent customer contact
  • has good written Swedish skills
  • has good spoken Swedish skills
  • has basic spoken English skills
  • has good computer skills and is accustomed to working with the Office suite
  • holds a driver's license for a manual transmission car
