About the Role

As a Business Controller at Swedish Agro, you will become the link between data and action. You will support the organization in defining and following up on sales targets and developing strategies based on in-depth market analysis. With a focus on sales, production, and logistics, you will ensure that management always has an accurate and comparable picture of the company's results – "a set of numbers" we can trust.

You will report directly to the CFO and serve as a strategic sparring partner to managers and leadership by translating financial data into business insights. Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Analysis & Follow-up: Drive the entire process for market and trend analysis, budgeting, KPIs, and profitability.
• Business Development: Translate analyses into concrete actions within sales, logistics, and operations. You will also prepare business cases for new concepts and markets.
• Budget & Administration: Participate in budgeting work and administer volumes, revenue, and income.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Strengthen internal control through close dialogue with key functions and act as proactive support in customer business.
• Systems & BI: Further develop and maintain BI solutions, pricing models, and KPI structures. You will also be responsible for managing our CRM/CVM system.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a natural problem solver with the ability to simplify the complex. You are data-driven and see patterns where others see noise, while possessing a high level of business acumen and a genuine interest in business development. As a person, you are proactive, independent, and confident in communicating your recommendations to various stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Education: Degree in Economics (University or College).
• Experience: At least 2–3 years of qualified experience in accounting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Technical Competence: Very good skills in Excel and experience handling large data sets. Experience with Power BI is considered an asset.
• Languages: Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Assets: Previous experience with decision support systems, budget systems, and pricing models.
