Do you want to help build new activities within associations, events, and leisure?

We are looking for a coordinator for sports and leisure facilities for our newly established office for associations and events.

Your responsibilities

In the role of coordinator, you will be responsible for being a link and support to the municipality and associations regarding facility and operational issues. This includes rental agreements, operational grants, usage agreements, and development issues. An important aspect of your work is that you will also be responsible for the operation of leisure facilities in addition to sports facilities such as exercise tracks, swimming areas, disc golf and petanque courts, outdoor gyms, mountain bike, canoe, and hiking trails, among others.

You will be the contact person for our customer center and local rentals in matters concerning rental rates, allocation of times for seasonal bookings, and general information about renting sports facilities. You will be responsible for our municipal camp activities. Your responsibilities also include assessing the need for maintenance of premises and equipment together with property owners, as well as ordering sports equipment and consumables for the facilities.

An important aspect of your work is to support your colleagues and other municipal employees in all facility and event-related matters.

Your qualifications

You have a university degree that the employer deems suitable for the position. You have previous experience in managing operations, property, and financial issues for sports and/or association facilities. For this position, you must also have a B driver's license.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience with similar tasks in municipal operations. It is also beneficial if you have previous experience in project management and follow-up of association issues or events, as you will support your colleagues with your knowledge in the areas our department handles.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be self-sufficient and comfortable switching between different tasks. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and have the ability to create order even when there is a lot to do.

The work also involves many contacts with external partners and other operations within our municipal group, which means that you are skilled at building good relationships and have the ability to communicate clearly and service-oriented. It is important that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English.

You are comfortable working with computers and various IT systems as this is widely used in the position.
