Växtplats i Kalmar AB has been a wholly owned municipal company of Kalmar Municipality since 2022. Växtplats i Kalmar AB aims to create secure and meaningful employment with a focus on personal development and increased quality of life for individuals who find it difficult to compete in the labor market. The organization has three branches of operation: employment services, service services, and subcontracting (production). Växtplats i Kalmar AB is one of the municipality's operations that provides service services to the municipality's various administrations. The assignments vary and can include carpentry, moving, painting, lawn mowing, transportation, and more.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a personnel administrator with payroll administration, you will work with:
- Personnel and employment administration
- Payroll administration
- Rehabilitation and work environment, which also involves providing support in systematic work environment management (SAM)
- Recruitment administration
- Reporting and monitoring of personnel statistics (sick leave, staff turnover, gender distribution), providing data to the management team and board, as well as monitoring staffing and personnel costs
- System responsibility in the form of administration of HR and payroll systems (participating in the implementation of a new payroll system within Kalmar Municipality in the coming year) and development of routines and digital working methods.
- Preventive health care.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR / personnel science or another relevant university or post-secondary education in the relevant field deemed equivalent by the employer.
You have experience and knowledge of payroll administration (from payroll data to payment), collective agreements (IF Metall and Vision), payroll and personnel systems, as well as experience from municipalities, municipal companies, or non-profit/integrated work activities.
We would like you to have knowledge of:
- Labor law, collective agreements, and collaboration
- Payroll processes, absence and time reporting, as well as compensation
- GDPR, confidentiality, and documentation

To thrive at VIKAB, you need to have an interest in working with continuous improvements in everyday routines, processes, and working methods within HR, payroll, social, and economic sustainability in collaboration with others.
The role initially includes ongoing payroll administration in our current system, Visma Lön 600, and subsequently both the introduction and transition to our new payroll system, Heroma.
The tasks have been distributed among several employees over the past year while waiting for more information about the new payroll system. Start date by agreement.
