The Municipal Executive Office is the administration of the Municipal Executive Board and the Municipal Assembly. The office also serves the Integration and Labor Market Committee as well as the Water and Environmental Committee.
We work with a holistic perspective, close to the political leadership, with the goal of providing the best possible support and service to Kalmar Municipality's political organization, companies, and administrations, as well as to the public. The Municipal Executive Office consists of over 300 employees across 14 different operations. The office operates in a wide range of areas and has several positions with specialist competencies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to work broadly within HR and make a real difference in an organization that values collaboration and development?
We are now looking for an HR specialist who wants to help strengthen our team. With us, you will be part of a safe and competent group of fourteen HR specialists who together work to provide the best possible HR support to the organization. We offer a learning work environment where participation is a given.
As an HR specialist, you will be a close support to managers at various levels in the organization. Your main focus will be on operational and business-related HR work, where you act as a coaching and supportive partner to managers primarily in rehabilitation and individual-related matters.
Being an HR specialist with us means that you handle everything from occupational health to labor law, rehabilitation, salary setting, and recruitment, among other things. You will have the opportunity to work independently while being part of a group with extensive experience. You will work towards a larger administration with a focus on change and development work together with three other HR specialists.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people and organizations, who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where collaboration and engagement are the keys to success.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in HR or another academic qualification deemed equivalent. Your education should include labor law. You should have at least three years of work experience in operational, business-related HR work where you have dealt with labor law issues and rehabilitation based on the employer's rehabilitation responsibility.
To succeed in this role, you need to have a consultative and professional approach. You are unpretentious, brave, and take responsibility for your tasks. You have a good ability to see issues from different perspectives and can adapt to various situations.
We value that you can prioritize easily and are self-assured. Since the role involves close collaboration with both managers, employees, and colleagues within the HR function, it is important that you are attentive, can build trust, and establish good relationships.
A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

As a permanent employee of Kalmar Municipality, you will be assigned to your workplace and are expected to contribute your work during heightened readiness.
