Are you a licensed nurse with an interest in elderly care who wholeheartedly wants to provide security and care to those who need support in their daily lives? Then you have come to the right place!
We at Attendo are now looking for a licensed nurse for our dementia and nursing department at Attendo Fortuna-Onnela in Uppsala. With us, you will be responsible for the nursing care of 20 residents.
Attendo Fortuna-Onnela is a pleasant and homely nursing home with a total of 40 places, located in Sävja with nature and forest right next door. We work according to the concept of Outdoor Stay and Garden, which means that our care recipients regularly spend time outdoors as a natural part of everyday life. In our large garden, there are both a chicken coop and a gazebo – an environment that creates good opportunities for social activities, recovery, and community.
Our dementia department works based on a person-centered approach, with a focus on structure, security, and care. Attendo Fortuna-Onnela is also Star-rated, which means that the entire operation has undergone advanced training in dementia care and works according to the Dementia Association's quality-assured model.
As a nurse with us, you will become part of an operation with high competence, a strong team, and a clear focus on dementia diseases and good nursing care. Here you will work in an environment where quality, development, and care are at the center.
About the role As a nurse at our facilities, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to increase the quality of life for the residents, but where you are also the one who makes assessments and decisions on measures in acute situations. Your responsibility also includes providing good palliative care. The transition to "Close Care" means that more and more specialized healthcare interventions take place at the facility. This gives you a variety of stimulating and developing tasks. You have a supervisory role with great opportunities to influence the operation.
As a nurse within Attendo, you are significant and your competence is highly valued. The work is independent, while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nurse networks. You are part of the team working to strengthen the individual.

Medication management
Work in national quality registers
Mentoring of nursing staff
Nursing responsibility for patients
Who are you?
As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy mentoring and delegating nursing staff in health and medical tasks and are motivated to create high-quality care for those who live with us together with your colleagues.
Qualifications
Licensed nurse
At least one year of professional experience, preferably in elderly care
Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
Merits if you also have
Experience from working in private care operations
Experience of mentoring
Education in geriatrics or district nursing
