At the System Division, you will work on the power system's most exciting challenges – from the operational hour right now to planning 40 years into the future. The great complexity and development opportunities make our work both stimulating and meaningful. Here, you will gain a unique holistic perspective on the power system and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a secure, sustainable, and efficient power supply.

About the Role

As a Power System Specialist, you will become part of a team with broad responsibilities and a central role in developing the power grid of the future. The team acts as a unifying force for various operational projects within the section's area of responsibility and also supports the grid planning section in developing tools, methods, and ways of working to streamline grid investigations and long-term analyses. You will lead projects regarding grid development plans and future load and production forecasts. The role involves many cross-functional interfaces – both internally within Svenska kraftnät and externally with regional grid companies and other industry actors. When needed, you will also contribute to the section's ongoing grid investigation work.

The unit offers excellent opportunities to develop both as a specialist and as a project manager. You also have the chance to engage in international cooperation forums and participate in internal cross-functional groups, where you can contribute to and influence the development of future working methods.

You will belong to the Grid Planning Development unit, which currently consists of approximately 11 employees. The unit is responsible for Svenska kraftnät's grid development plan, management and development of the grid planning handbook, forecast collaboration, method development, and design criteria for grid planning. The unit is also responsible for the overall strategic design and dimensioning within grid planning.
