Job Description

At AFRY Advanced Automation in Stockholm, we continue to grow – and now we want to strengthen our team with more engaged automation engineers who are passionate about technology and smart solutions. With us, you will work on technology-intensive projects where we help some of Sweden's most exciting businesses take the leap into the future of industrial automation.

Your Role – Where Technology, Creativity, and Problem Solving Meet
As an automation engineer, you will play a central role in our projects, from the initial idea to final commissioning. Here, you will get close to both technology and the customer – and have the opportunity to create solutions that truly make a difference.

You will work with, among other things:

• Programming within PLC, SCADA, and DCS
• Methodical troubleshooting and advanced problem solving
• Documentation and quality assurance throughout the entire project
• Technical consulting and close dialogue with our customers

The assignments vary in both size and complexity – from smaller upgrades to building entirely new factories or plants. This means a lot of variety, great responsibility, and plenty of opportunities for development.

You will work on:

• Individual expert assignments
• Larger total deliveries
• In-house projects at the office
• Customer assignments out in the field

Qualifications

Since you will be working to find solutions to advanced challenges, we are looking for someone who loves to think creatively and solve problems. You enjoy collaborating with others, creating engagement, and building strong relationships – while taking responsibility and driving the work forward. We also see that you have a willingness to develop and contribute to the success of both your colleagues and our customers.

• Relevant education in the field or equivalent work experience.
• Many years of experience as an automation engineer and good knowledge of working with ABB's software, ABB 800xA. If you have also worked with older ABB products AC450 and MP200, as well as system upgrades, this is an asset but not a requirement.
• Class B driver's license as business travel occurs.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
