Vattenfall Eldistribution is at the heart of the energy transition and plays a decisive role in the extensive electrification currently taking place in society. As a Project Manager Local Grid at Vattenfall Eldistribution, you will have the opportunity to drive projects that are crucial for developing and strengthening the electricity grid.

The Role of Project Manager

We are looking for project managers for local grid projects within the 0.4 - 20kV voltage level. You will be ultimately responsible for achieving set goals in your projects and have overall responsibility for steering projects to the right cost, quality, and time. This includes, among other things, leading and coordinating projects, as well as communicating and representing Vattenfall's interests towards other stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities, and contractors. Business travel is part of the role.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Leading, allocating, and following up on work both internally and externally through our suppliers and contractors
• Steering forecasts and budget follow-up for decided projects
• Following up and acting as a role model to ensure a safe working environment. Work proactively with risk management in the project
• Creating and maintaining relationships with customers, consultants, and authorities, as well as collaborating internally with functions within Vattenfall Eldistribution
• Working on procurement together with purchasing
• Contributing to the organization's learning through knowledge transfer and participating in improvement work.

Requirements Specification

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, it is important that you:

• Have a post-secondary education - preferably in engineering, energy, project management, economics, law, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Have at least 3 years of work experience in project management – for example within energy, infrastructure, construction, or other related industries
• Have an interest in participating in process and business development projects
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English
• Have a Class B driver's license (requirement)

We consider it a plus if you have knowledge within the electricity grid industry and distribution business, preferably from the contractor side and/or if you have experience of contract law.

We are looking for someone with personal drive and business acumen. You are responsible, structured, and drive your work forward independently with high quality. The role of project manager is broad with many contact points – and it is therefore important that you have good social skills and find it easy to communicate both in writing and verbally.
