About the Role

As a Production Technician, you will work practically and closely with operations in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality components in metal and composite. You will be involved throughout the process – from early prototypes to completely new installations used in real aviation operations. You will manufacture, assemble, install, and test structures according to drawings and technical specifications, ensuring that the work meets applicable quality and safety requirements while meticulously documenting your results.

The role is hands-on and detail-oriented, where you will work with both hand and power tools as well as workshop equipment. You will collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure that design solutions are practical, manufacturable, and robust. You will be part of a smaller, collaborative team where everyone helps each other, shares knowledge, and maintains a humble culture focused on quality and safety.

We are looking for someone who

wants to work practically in production and thrives in an environment where you combine technical craftsmanship, precision, and collaboration with different functions. You enjoy building things the right way, take responsibility for your work, and appreciate a varied day-to-day routine – from fine-tuning prototypes to robust installations that must perform in demanding environments.

You should have

• Post-secondary education in production technology, industrial/mechanical manufacturing, or a similar field • Some work experience • Preferably experience from an industrial/production environment, or relevant internship in areas such as workshops, manufacturing, or assembly • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications • Experience in sheet metal processing, fitting/assembly, composite work, or similar practical, technical roles (ideally – you don't need to cover everything, but preferably in some area) • Experience with workshop equipment such as press brakes, shears, or similar machines • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.

About the Company

The position is with a Swedish, high-tech industrial company in the aviation and defense-related sector, focusing on advanced manufacturing, assembly, and installation of technical structures.

Practical Information

The position is full-time, located in the Stockholm area, and can start as soon as possible by agreement. You will be employed as a consultant at Xamera. The position may require security clearance and certain citizenship requirements according to applicable security protection regulations.
