Job Description:

In the role of Mechanical Designer, you will work on both the development of new components and the improvement of existing solutions. This is done in close collaboration with production, testing, and other technical areas.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will develop subsystems for advanced jet engines. You will design and construct components and structures in various materials, such as high-strength steel, aluminum, composites, and using additive manufacturing.

You will become part of a tightly knit team of engaged and competent colleagues, working together towards common goals.

Examples of tasks:

• Design of load-bearing structures.
• Creation of technical documentation such as drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
• Development of subsystems for jet engines.
• Participation in projects and technical alignments with both internal and external stakeholders.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in mechanical engineering, product development, or a similar field. You have at least 2 years of professional experience working as a mechanical designer and are comfortable working in a CAD environment. Experience with Siemens NX, additive manufacturing, and lightweight structures in steel or composites is an asset.

To succeed in the role of designer, we believe you need strong collaborative skills and be communicative and pedagogical in your working style. You are a social person who is more than happy to discuss and exchange ideas with colleagues from different areas of expertise.
