Job Description

We are now looking for a Process Engineer to join our Life Science team in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will work on client assignments and internal projects, taking a technical role in process design, technical decisions, and delivery. You will contribute both operationally and strategically in complex GMP-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Contribute process engineering expertise in projects from early phases through qualification and start-up.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA).
• Develop requirement specifications (e.g., URS as well as equipment and facility requirements).
• Support equipment selection, procurement, and qualification.
• Conduct risk analyses (e.g., HAZOP).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, validation, automation, HVAC, and project management.

Qualifications

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have an engineering degree in a relevant field and a solution-oriented approach to work.

• At least 3 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical, MedTech, biotech, or Life Science industry.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments.
• Competence in process design, scale-up, and optimization.
• Experience with validation and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of P&ID and process systems.
• Experienced in working in cross-functional project teams.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
