As a Technical Project Manager at AFRY, you lead multidisciplinary teams in various types of projects within the food industry.

You will:

• Drive and steer projects from start to finish – with clear ownership of time, budget, quality, and risk in national and international assignments within the food industry.
• Hold together the commercial aspects of the project – contracts, deliveries, changes, and reviews, as well as providing support in negotiations and supplier management towards our external customers when needed.
• Establish structure and create momentum: project plan, schedule, budget, resources, risks, documentation, and follow-up – using modern digital tools as a natural way of working.
• Be a secure technical leader in the project and ensure the right requirements, interfaces, and decision-making basis together with specialists.
• Drive improvement and experience feedback between assignments – so that we standardize, simplify, and deliver even better next time.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team with projects within food production. You belong to our office in Gothenburg, but we work on projects around the world and collaborate daily, both digitally and via travel, with international colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to continue developing within project management and the food industry, and who appreciate working closely with customers and colleagues.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Some form of technical higher education or equivalent experience within the food sector.
• Extensive experience of project management within the food industry, preferably with a background as a process/production engineer.
• Fluent English and Swedish in both written and spoken form.
• Experience in leading and motivating teams, and thriving with responsibility in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Good AI and digitalization maturity; you use smart working methods and digital support to work efficiently and create business value.
• In periods, physical presence at the customer site is required, and travel with overnight stays occurs as a natural part of the role.
• Experience in the dairy industry is an extra merit.
