Public & Commercial Places Sweden is a business area within AFRY that creates sustainable, safe, and innovative solutions for public and commercial environments. We work on everything from hospitals and high-security facilities to infrastructure and defense projects. We are a department with a good heart and great harmony, specialized in the design of electrical and telecommunications installations in all types of buildings. Community and collaboration are central to us – we help each other and share knowledge. If you don't know something today, you will learn it here, but we hope you have a foundational background in electrical engineering.

Our department consists of engineers in various roles: project managers, case handlers, designers, project leaders, and inspectors. Our projects include new construction and renovation of hospitals, schools, offices, residential buildings, retail, etc. Our customers include both public and private property owners, asset managers, and contractors.

Your Role

We are looking for you who want to work as a Project Manager or Project Leader in various types of projects at customer sites.

You will be based in Gothenburg. Most assignments are in the local area, but may also occur in other locations.

As a Project Manager, you will contribute with:

• Project management of electrical and telecommunication systems in construction projects
• Leading and coordinating assignments, including contact with customers and other disciplines
• Contributing technical expertise and solutions to projects

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a theoretical electrical engineering education at upper secondary, post-secondary, or university level
• Are structured, communicative, and enjoy collaborating with others
• Want to develop and take responsibility in projects
• It is an advantage if you have previously worked as an electrician, lead installer, or project manager with a contractor
