Our client works with advanced development and manufacturing. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consultant role and have experience with mechatronic systems and industrial automation in a high-tech environment. In the role of Mechatronics Engineer, you will work with the client on developing and optimizing mechatronic solutions in an advanced production and development environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and development of mechatronic systems integrating mechanics, electronics, and software
• Development of control and automation solutions, e.g., regulation of motors, valves, and sensors for the client's equipment
• Simulation, testing, and calibration of mechatronic systems to achieve high performance and operational reliability
• Collaboration with mechanical, electronic, and software engineers for subsystem integration
• Documentation of technical solutions and creation of instructions for operation and maintenance

Your Background

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience in mechatronics development or industrial automation, preferably in complex environments
• Knowledge of mechanical design (CAD) as well as electronics/control systems, with the ability to integrate these areas
• Experience programming control or regulation systems (e.g., PLC, embedded systems, or equivalent) is a plus
• Experience from advanced manufacturing, e.g., automotive, aerospace, or defense industry, is a plus
