Our investment in mechanical design and product development in Gothenburg continues to grow, and we are now looking for more experienced colleagues who want to join us on this journey. Here you will work in varied development projects together with some of the region's industrial companies, while becoming part of a growing group where you have the opportunity to influence both assignments, working methods, and future development. With the support of Rejler's broad competence in areas such as electricity, automation, process, and project management, there are excellent opportunities for collaboration, learning, and development across technical boundaries.
About the Job
As a Mechanical Designer/Product Developer at Rejler, you work on the development of industrial products, components, and technical solutions. The assignments vary in content and industry, ranging from concept development and new design to further development of existing products, product adaptations, and technical improvement projects.
You work closely with customers and cross-functional teams throughout the entire development process, from idea and requirement setting to finished solution. The role may include both consulting assignments at the customer's site and in-house projects where several of Rejler's competence areas collaborate to create value for the customer.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Work with mechanical design and product development from concept to finished solution.
- Develop industrial products, components, and technical systems based on customer needs.
- Create 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation using modern CAD tools.
- Participate in customer dialogues to understand technical challenges and identify solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other technical fields in cross-functional development projects.
- Contribute to the development of our operations in mechanical design and product development in Gothenburg.
Here you have the opportunity to work on assignments that combine technical depth with variety, while becoming an important part of a group that continues to grow.
Who Are You?
We are looking for you who have extensive experience in mechanical design and product development within the industry. You thrive in a role where you can combine technical work with customer contact and collaboration, and you appreciate the opportunity to contribute both your competence and your ideas.
As a person, you are curious, responsible, and solution-oriented. You work independently when needed but also see the value in developing solutions together with others. You are happy to share your experiences and contribute to an environment where knowledge and collaboration drive development forward.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- Relevant technical education at university level, e.g., in mechanical engineering or product development, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in mechanical design and/or product development within the industry.
- Experience with at least one CAD tool, e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- A valid driver's license (Category B).
It is an advantage if you have experience from consulting assignments or work in cross-functional development teams.
What You Get
With us, you have the opportunity to step into a team that has come a long way but is still in an exciting development phase. This means you will get to influence the continued direction of the business while becoming part of a larger context with established customers, experienced colleagues, and broad technical competence.
At Rejler, learning is a natural part of everyday life. Through varied assignments, close customer collaboration, and knowledge exchange with colleagues in several technical fields, you have the opportunity to develop based on your own ambitions, whether you want to broaden your competence or deepen your expertise in a specialist area.
You get the freedom to take responsibility in your assignments, while having support from colleagues and managers close by. Here, technical excellence is combined with a warm and business-oriented culture where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and long-term relationships contribute to both strong deliveries and a sustainable workday.
Please note that response times may be slightly longer during the summer as many of us take time off. We will get back to you as soon as possible! 🌞
