Our client is now expanding its team within the defense industry and is therefore looking for driven and engaged designers for the operations in Trollhättan. You will become part of a team that works with the development and design of production equipment for advanced manufacturing. With your competence, curiosity, and desire to develop, you will contribute to exciting projects together with both experienced and junior colleagues. You will have the opportunity to work in a creative and technology-intensive environment where development, collaboration, and innovation are in focus.

Responsibilities

As a designer, you will work with the development and design of production equipment, primarily within the defense industry. The tasks vary depending on the project and the company's needs, but include among other things:

• Design of production equipment such as tools, rigs, and fixtures.
• Developing technical solutions for advanced production.
• Modeling and design in a CAD environment, primarily Creo.
• Collaboration with production, calculation, and industrialization to ensure efficient and sustainable solutions.
• Participation in development projects from idea to finished delivery.

We are looking for you who

• Have a university or civil engineering degree in mechanical engineering, product development, production technology, or equivalent. Alternatively, have relevant work experience in design.
• Have experience with or interest in CAD design, preferably in Creo.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
• Are a Swedish citizen.

As part of the recruitment process, a background check is conducted on all candidates. Since the position is linked to defense-related operations, you are also required to undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
