Job Description:

In the role of Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work on both the new development of components and the improvement of existing solutions. You will do this in close collaboration with production, testing, and other technical areas.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work on developing subsystems for advanced jet engines. You design and construct components and structures in various materials, such as high-strength steel, aluminum, composites, and with the help of additive manufacturing.

You will become part of a cohesive team with engaged and competent colleagues, where you work together towards common goals.

Examples of tasks:

• Design of load-bearing structures.
• Creation of technical documentation such as drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
• Development of subsystems for jet engines.
• Participation in projects and technical reviews together with both internal and external stakeholders.

The assignment requires you to undergo a security interview and be approved according to current regulations. The assignment also entails requirements for certain citizenship.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have an engineering degree in mechanical engineering, product development, or a similar field. You have at least 2 years of professional experience working as a mechanical design engineer and are comfortable working in a CAD environment. If you have experience with Siemens NX, additive manufacturing, and lightweight structures in steel or composites, this is a plus.
