RESPONSIBILITIES

Like all municipalities, Gnosjö Municipality faces challenges in initiating the transition work based on the new Social Services Act. In your role as Social Coordinator, you will have a strategic and management-focused assignment where you examine, follow up on, and develop quality within the social administration's operations. You are responsible for the assessment and investigation of Lex Sarah reports and making any necessary reports to the supervisory authority IVO. The assignment also includes following up on measures taken regarding identified errors and deficiencies in the operations. You provide feedback and assist staff in a pedagogical manner, contributing to increased learning for the operations, for example regarding legal security and the Lex Sarah process. Furthermore, you support the operations in systematic quality work and contribute to the development of routines and working methods.

Internal and external operational audits are included, in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice on quality management systems. The work involves monitoring the legal situation and quality work within the field. You report the results of your assignment to the social administration's management group and to the social committee. Furthermore, you participate in the introduction, training, and further education of staff, conduct investigations, and prepare cases for the social committee and the municipal council.

Part of the work will also involve assisting the operations/administration with development work in close collaboration with responsible operation managers, unit managers, development leaders, the medically responsible nurse (MAS), and the medically responsible for rehabilitation (MAR). You also collaborate with other colleagues with the same responsibilities both in GGVV and in the county.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in Social Work or equivalent education. You have several years of experience in qualified work within the social field as well as extensive experience in investigative work. You also have good knowledge and experience of the legislation governing our operations, such as the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), as well as overarching municipal legislation. You also have knowledge and experience of working with quality assurance and follow-up within the social services area. Previous experience of work with supervision and auditing is an asset.

We are looking for someone who takes their own initiatives. You are used to working independently and take great responsibility for your tasks in close collaboration and dialogue with the social administration's management group. You have a well-developed pedagogical ability and can simply and clearly contribute knowledge and learning to your colleagues in complex cases involving, for example, legislation. You must also be able to support, inform, and educate employees and managers within the administration.

You plan, organize, and prioritize the work to be done in an efficient manner and are clear in your communication. You have good analytical skills and can easily grasp complex issues, while working solution-focused from a holistic perspective.
