The Role of the Telephone Operator

We are now looking for communicative summer substitutes for the Contact Center in Nässjö. As a telephone operator with us, you will answer phone calls, guide callers to the right person or unit, and support the use of e-services. You will answer questions from the public about the operations of Region Jönköping County, both via phone and functional mailbox, and assist with emergency cases. You are an important link in the communication between and to the county's hospitals and other operations within Region Jönköping County.

The Position is Time-Limited

The position is time-limited (weeks 25–32) with a varying degree of employment of 70%–90%. You will first start as a substitute in May for introduction, after which you will transition to a monthly employment from week 25 until August 9. Work may occur on weekdays, holidays, as well as day and evening shifts.

Your Profile

To be eligible for the position, you have a high school education, good computer skills, and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience working as a telephone operator or in similar service professions is an advantage. You are a flexible and service-oriented person. In the role of telephone operator, it is important to provide a good reception. You should be able to work both in a team and independently. You are communicative, structured, and attentive to our customers' service needs. You have a desire and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
