Production Controller for Business Unit Training & Simulation

Your Role
We are currently seeking a Production Controller for the Business Unit Training & Simulation. In this role, you will work closely with operations with a clear focus on inventory and capital binding. You will have the opportunity to analyze the current situation and trends to design new ways of working and drive improvements. Through your analyses, you will guide the organization and create decision-making support that makes a difference.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor and act on inventory development, as well as initiate operational improvements.
- Follow up on material costs and product/project estimates, and be responsible for analyzing cost development.
- Monitor processes regarding safety stock and its impact on total inventory value.
- Define, follow up, and report relevant key figures to drive the business forward.
- Participate in budget and forecasting work, and support and guide on economic issues.
You will report to the Head of Production & Logistics and be part of the function's management group. Your closest colleagues will be warehouse, planning, and production managers, as well as master planners. The role also involves a broad network spanning several departments, both within the own organization and functions such as procurement, project management, and finance.
Your Profile
To thrive in this role, we look for someone who is unpretentious and self-driven, with the ability to collaborate with many different stakeholders. You are business-minded, analytical, and meticulous in your work, but also possess the drive and confidence required to communicate economic relationships to the business in a pedagogical manner.
We are looking for someone with a relevant economic education, for example in business administration or industrial economics, and several years of experience in a controller role. You have excellent Excel skills, feel confident handling large data sets to create clear reports and analysis materials, and are experienced in working with ERP systems. Knowledge of IFS or Agresso is an asset. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
