Linen Assistans is a small, personal assistance company with a big heart. For us, everything is about closeness, security, and accessibility – we are here for you as a client, relative, or assistant. We want everyone to feel seen, safe, and appreciated every day.

We are looking for a female personal assistant for a 17-year-old girl living with her parents outside Jämjö.

In the role of personal assistant, you will become a safe and present support in her daily life. You will help her with personal care, dressing, meals, and transfers, as well as going out for walks and participating in other activities outside the home.

She can walk independently and move around indoors and for short distances with the help of a walker, but she needs constant support from her assistant. For longer distances or when otherwise needed, she uses a wheelchair.

Communication is partly done using TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Augmentative Communication), so it is important that you know TAKK so that you can use it as a support in communication.

It is also a great advantage if you have experience and understanding of how to treat and support a person with autism – with calmness, clarity, and structure that create security and predictability.

As an assistant, you will have a meaningful role in her daily life, contributing to security, stability, and joy in both small and big moments.

Requirements and Desirables:

• You are calm, reliable, and have a warm and respectful approach.
• You have good teamwork skills, patience, and the ability to take responsibility.
• Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
• You are comfortable with animals and not allergic (there are cats in the home).
• You are non-smoking.
• You have a driver's license and access to a car (the workplace is located outside the urban area).

Working Hours: Varied – afternoons, evenings, and weekends according to schedule. Overnight is on-call duty.
