We are therefore seeking personal assistants in western Blekinge. The temporary position covers weeks 26–33 (some positions are for 4 weeks and some for 8 weeks). The positions are scheduled and vary between 65–95%. You must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and for some positions also nights (waiting time at night may also occur).

Primarily, we are looking for someone with some form of education regarding disabilities or ongoing education and/or experience working within the field of disabilities. A significant merit is if you have previously worked as a personal assistant. We also place great importance on personal chemistry and personal qualities, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have the aforementioned education or experience. You must not have any physical limitations as the work may involve assistance with mobility.

As a person, you must be responsible, attentive, flexible, have good patience, and be able to take your own initiatives and adapt your work to the user's needs. You must have a good ability to read needs and wishes even if they are not always expressed verbally. The work pace is mixed. At some workplaces, it is mandatory to have a driver's license and access to your own car.

The nature of the work requires that you are fluent in speaking and understanding the Swedish language, for example, being able to understand and read various instruction and checklists, as well as follow established routines.
