About Us

The Authority Office is a central part of the Elderly Care Administration and works to provide municipal residents over 65 with the support they need in a legally secure, professional, and respectful manner. We are responsible for needs assessments, investigations, fee handling, and decisions according to the Housing Adaptation Grant Act.

Your Mission

As an Assessment Officer with us, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you:

  • investigate needs, make qualified assessments, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act
  • meet people in different life situations and support them in receiving the right measures
  • collaborate with providers, relatives, and other partners to create holistic solutions
  • contribute to secure transitions and good planning of measures in everyday life

We work in the systems LifeCare and LINK and base our assessments on IBIC.

QUALIFICATIONS

Language and Computer Skills: Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing. This also implies good digital skills as high demands are placed on communication and documentation.

Driver's License: Class B driver's license.

Education: Degree in Social Work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

Legislation: It is an asset if you have good knowledge regarding legislation and application within the social services area (Social Services Act), as well as knowledge and experience of the LSS legislation. It is also an asset if you have advanced education in law, such as administrative law or the Social Services Act.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to organize and structure work efficiently. You are good at prioritizing tasks and coordinating resources to achieve short- and long-term goals. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and strives for common goals. It is natural for you to compromise and share information and knowledge. We are looking for someone who is communicative and clear. You have the ability to listen actively to understand others' perspectives and give and receive constructive feedback.
