Temporary Position: We are looking for a socially engaged Procurement Officer for our team

Do you want to work on driving procurement projects at Poseidon for one year? Do you enjoy leading projects and collaborating with both clients and suppliers? We are looking for a temporary Procurement Officer who wants to contribute to effective, sustainable, and strategic procurements that make a difference for both our organization and society at large.

As a Procurement Officer with us, you will become part of an engaged and collaborative team. You will receive a varied assignment where you independently lead the entire procurement process from needs analysis to a finalized contract. You will primarily work with construction procurement and framework agreements within the real estate sector, but other types of procurement will also occur. You will support our clients with renewed competitive tendering and work together with the rest of the organization on contract follow-up, compliance, and supplier collaboration. Furthermore, you will become a significant advisor to our clients and managers, contributing to raising procurement competence throughout the organization.

Effective, sustainable, and strategic procurements

Poseidon's procurement unit also plays an important role in developing and managing routines, templates, and instructions related to the purchasing process. Here, you will be involved in this improvement work. The team also conducts training on procurement issues for the organization, where you will have the opportunity to contribute.

With us, you will become part of our team consisting of four procurement officers, a procurement strategist, and a procurement manager – with offices in Gamlestaden. For us, collaboration, responsibility, and drive are in focus. We have close cooperation within the unit as well as with other companies in the Framtiden Group and the Procurement and Purchasing Administration. This gives you a broad network and great variety in your tasks.

Competent, decent, and listening colleague

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in, for example, procurement, economics, law, or another relevant field. To be considered for the position, you need good knowledge of procurement legislation, but it is acceptable to be new to the profession. Personal suitability and the ability to quickly get into the role and group will weigh heavily in this recruitment.

We would like you to have experience of independently driving procurement projects according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU). It is also meritorious if you have experience of construction procurement and/or procurement within the real estate sector and are familiar with the associated regulations and general terms and conditions such as AB04, ABT06, ABK09, and AFF.

To thrive and deliver in the role, you need to be analytical and able to quickly identify the core of complex issues, as well as propose well-thought-out solutions. You work in a structured manner, plan and organize your tasks efficiently, and ensure that the work maintains high quality within given timeframes.

Other details

The position is full-time and limited to 11 months with the possibility of extension. Start in May 2026 or by agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. Quality assurance of the recruitment process for final candidates will be done through background checks.
