Jana Fastigheter AB is a family-owned real estate company that owns and manages rental properties consisting of approximately 500 rental apartments and around 100 commercial units. The property portfolio is located in attractive locations in central Halmstad and Hyltebruk.
Finance Assistant - Part-time
We are looking for a part-time Finance Assistant (minimum 60%, with the possibility to increase) for a family-owned and entrepreneurially driven real estate company. Here you will get a flexible role that suits you if you want to combine employment with us with studies, other employment, or your own consulting business in the finance sector.
As a Finance Assistant, you will have a broad and varied role where you work with ongoing accounting and support the person responsible for accounting in their daily work. The role suits you if you want to develop further in accounting and take the next step in your career.

Responsibilities
Your tasks within ongoing accounting will include, among other things:
- Bank reconciliations as well as incoming and outgoing payments
- Accounts payable – booking, approval handling, and eventually payments
- Reconciliation of tax accounts
- VAT declarations
- Support in the development and streamlining of internal routines and processes
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone with a university education or equivalent and approximately 3–5 years of experience in similar tasks. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the real estate industry. You have good IT skills, and experience with Open Business is an advantage. You also have good Excel skills and an interest in developing and streamlining work methods using Excel.
