Healthcare Strategist at Region Halland

Do you want to contribute to creating good access to healthcare in Halland? Do you have work experience in healthcare? Then you might be our new colleague! We need to strengthen our team with an additional healthcare strategist who works with private care providers with care agreements in Region Halland.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is inspired and driven to work on improving and creating good access to healthcare for the residents of Halland. The role of healthcare strategist involves strategic work with development, procurement, and follow-up of private care providers with care agreements. Furthermore, the position includes contract management and systematic follow-up together with experienced colleagues in a well-functioning team, in a developing environment alongside experts in various fields.

The work also includes preparing materials for decisions in political boards, committees, and regional management. The job may also involve general investigative and development work within the healthcare sector. This can occur in collaboration with various operations, such as different care administrations, but also in collaboration with municipalities. You may also be part of various national and regional networks.

Region Halland currently has about a hundred care agreements in various care areas with private care providers.

About the Workplace

The position of healthcare strategist is located at the Regional Office, Department of Assignments and Analysis within healthcare. The department has overall responsibility for monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and informing about the development of healthcare in Halland. We provide analyses and reports as a basis for decisions in political boards, committees, and regional management. We represent Region Halland in various national contexts.

The workplace is in Halmstad with the possibility of some remote work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree and experience working within the healthcare sector.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a good systems perspective, drive, initiative, and collaboration skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently. You are communicative with very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and you have experience presenting analyses both verbally and in writing in a pedagogical and easily understandable way.
