About the workplace

Fridegårdsgymnasiet is a calm and safe school that works hard to create a positive school culture. We offer academic programs, vocational programs, AST-adapted programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary education. The school is centrally located in Bålsta and has approximately 550 students.

Your tasks

You will teach various subjects within the Technology Programme with specializations in Design and Product Development as well as Information and Media Technology. The content of the positions may be influenced by your competence, qualifications, and experience. We prefer candidates who are qualified in multiple subjects within each specialization. Mentoring is a natural and important part of the assignment at Fridegårdsgymnasiet.

You will join a program team with engaged, knowledgeable, and unpretentious colleagues who wish to develop and renew the technology programme at the school. Together with the rest of the work team, you are expected to develop working methods, attitudes, and broaden the pedagogical toolkit based on already good prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher within our two specializations, as well as in AI and Mathematics. You possess good and deep subject knowledge, a broad pedagogical toolkit, and can adapt your teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites.
