Job Description

As we now have a craft teacher qualified in both textile craft and wood and metal craft, we are looking for a colleague qualified in one of these craft forms or possibly both. You will teach grades 3-5 in half-class groups and be part of a team consisting of the school's other practical aesthetic teachers. At Lindbacken, you will have the opportunity to make a difference for our students by contributing your skills, knowledge, and commitment to work with the student at the center to help the school achieve its goals. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the educational work according to the curriculum and other governing documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching license in crafts for grades 3-5. You have previous experience teaching crafts. As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled even in stressful situations. You maintain a realistic perspective and focus on what is important for teaching and the students' safety. You collaborate well with students, colleagues, and guardians and respond to others in a responsive and flexible manner. You communicate clearly and constructively, resolving conflicts in a constructive way. In your role as a teacher, you create engagement and participation. You motivate students and provide them with the conditions to achieve common goals. You coordinate the work in the group and become a natural reference point that students can rely on. You plan, organize, and prioritize teaching in a structured way. You set clear time frames, follow up, and ensure that students make progress in their development.
