Are you service-oriented, communicative, and looking for a summer job in customer service? At Manpower, we are currently recruiting several customer service representatives for a summer assignment with a major energy company in Västerås. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in an important community-focused operation where you daily assist customers with questions regarding electricity, water, and heating. Location: Västerås
Start Date: Early June 2026
Duration: Summer job until the end of August 2026
Scope: Full-time, office hours
Working Hours: 07:45-16:30 (45-minute lunch break)
Additional Information: The work is performed 100% on-site at the office in Västerås. Training takes place during approximately two weeks at the beginning of the assignment.

About the Customer Service Representative Role

As a customer service representative with Manpower, working for our client in the energy sector, you will provide professional service to private and business customers. The telephone is your primary channel, and you will handle incoming calls and cases related to customers' electricity, water, and heating supplies.

You will become part of a team where collaboration, service mindset, and accountability are key success factors. This role suits you if you enjoy customer contact, can handle multiple cases in parallel, and want to contribute to a positive customer experience.

Examples of tasks include:

  • Handling incoming cases via telephone
  • Customer service within electricity/grid, water, and heating
  • Receiving and registering fault reports
  • Cases related to moving, electricity trading, and other customer inquiries
  • Some mail handling and returns processing
  • Administrative case handling in internal systems

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and comfortable working in a telephone-based customer service role. You should find it easy to get up to speed with new tasks and be able to handle various types of customer cases in a structured and professional manner.

We require that you have:

  • Some form of previous experience in customer service
  • Another primary occupation of at least 50% (e.g., studies)
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience working with the telephone as a work tool

Merits:

  • Studies in electricity, energy, or a related field
  • Previous experience in customer support or customer service
