Our client, an important player in Swedish business, is now looking for a driven operational buyer. Here you will have the opportunity to develop the company's standardized purchasing processes and framework agreements while ensuring deliveries and optimizing workflows in a global environment.

About the position

As an operational buyer, you are a key player in our client's supply chain, responsible for ensuring efficient purchases and deliveries. You will work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers in a role that requires both accuracy and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

This role involves ensuring efficient purchases and deliveries, managing orders and agreements in the business system, and maintaining good relationships with both internal departments and external suppliers.

  • Participate in cross-functional sourcing teams to develop purchasing specifications and framework agreements.
  • Execute purchases according to MRP proposals and secure deliveries.
  • Check and approve invoices against agreements to identify price deviations.
  • Manage complaints and disputes within the framework of purchases made.
  • Maintain purchasing information, lead times, and prices in SAP.
  • Follow up on deliveries and complaints with suppliers.
  • Inform internal customers about delivery status.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has post-secondary education preferably in purchasing and/or planning.
  • Experience in purchasing work in SAP.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.

It is an advantage if you have

  • A technical background or a genuine technical interest.
  • Good knowledge of cost management.
  • Good understanding of contract management.
