About Us

Since our start in 2014, Bonnier News Inhouse Sales, a central part of the leading media group Bonnier News AB in the Nordics, has undergone significant expansion that marks our importance in the industry. We have grown from an office with five employees to nearly 100 salespeople distributed across our offices in Västerås, Norrköping, Örebro, and Eskilstuna. Our vision is to become the leading sales organization within the entire Bonnier group, and with total sales of 151 million by 2025, nothing can stop us!

About the Role

As a salesperson at Bonnier, you will work Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM. You will start your workweek together with your colleagues at our office in central Västerås. The day begins with a joint kickoff where we review the week's and day's goals. You will then speak daily with business owners in Sweden's business community via phone and offer them subscriptions to some of Sweden's leading business magazines such as Dagens Medicin, Privata Affärer, and Byggindustrin, to name a few. Your workday will be a mix of sales, coaching sales meetings, independent studies on the products you sell, and fun activities and sales competitions. Who Are You?

You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where high tempo, positive energy, and strong collegial collaboration go hand in hand with good sales results. You are a communicative and persuasive telephone salesperson with the ability to express yourself clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. Through active listening and understanding the customer's needs, you can tailor solutions that truly add value.

As a person, you are goal-oriented and driven, and you strive not only to meet but also to exceed set goals. Your persistence and work ethic ensure that you always stay focused and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and without giving up. You are meticulous and organized, which means you always deliver quality in your work, and you handle stressful situations in a calm and stable manner.

Qualifications:

  • Good ability to communicate and engage with customers via phone and email/writing.
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Previous experience in proactive sales is an advantage.
  • Experience in sales within the media industry is an advantage.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probation period. The salary is based on a guaranteed salary and commission.

You will belong to Bonnier News Inhouse Sales. You report to the sales manager, and together we sit in the “VLT-house” at Slottsgatan 27 in central Västerås.
