Your Role

We are now looking for a driven and engaged Lead Project Manager who wants to be part of our exciting journey! We are in an expansion phase driven by a changed external situation, which requires high operational capability and availability of our customers' defense systems. In this role, you will be part of a small, dedicated project management group, responsible for shaping and leading all sub-projects and assignments that ensure a robust rear maintenance capability for the Gripen E. As a member of our team, you help ensure high operational capability and availability of our customers' defense systems, while having the opportunity to take on new challenges, develop your skills, and grow professionally in a dynamic environment.

As a project manager, your main areas of responsibility will include:

• Define and lead sub-projects: You will identify and define the sub-projects necessary to achieve the project's goals and lead these projects to success.
• Collaborate with key players: You will work closely with the line organization, customers, and subcontractors to ensure that the project's deliverables meet the customers' needs and expectations. An important part of the role is also to drive commercial dialogues and work together with subcontractors/OEMs to ensure progress and good deliveries in the projects.
• Contribute to strategic development: You will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of Saab's strategy for component maintenance.

Since the main project covers several sites both in Sweden and abroad, travel both within Sweden and internationally may occur.

Your Profile

In addition to the personal qualities mentioned above, you have:

• Several years of work experience in project management, preferably in an international context
• Good financial understanding
• Experience in creating and implementing strategies
• Experience in commercial work, such as supplier dialogues, negotiations, or collaboration with external parties
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious if you have:

• Broad experience and knowledge within flight technical operations
• A good understanding of aircraft maintenance and applicable regulations (SE-EMAR 145, SE-EMAR M, SE-EMAR 21J, and G etc.)

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at any time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
