Case Handler BAS to TU BAS – Air Force Development Unit Air Combat (UTV Luft)

TU BAS (Tactical Development Base) develops Air Force base systems regarding flight technical services, logistics, protection, and surveillance, among others. As a Case Handler BAS, you will play a key role in developing the Air Force's future capabilities.

About the Unit UTV LUFT

To maintain the Air Force's operational capability, the air combat forces' operational units require continuous development in both the short and long term.

UTV LUFT belongs to the Air Combat School (LSS) and carries out the Air Force's capability development regarding technology, tactics, and methods for all Air Force units and functions. The activities range from equipment development and concept development to capability introduction at operational units.

Applying Department

LSS UTV LUFT, TU BAS. TU BAS is part of UTV LUFT. Tasks within the department include, among others, the development of tactics and equipment systems.

Job Responsibilities

As a Case Handler, you will report to C TUBAS and be part of working groups linked to various development projects. You will participate in organizational and methodological trials as well as tactical evaluation and testing.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Participate in working groups linked to development projects, organizational and methodological trials, and tactical evaluation and testing.
  • Prepare documentation for objectives for current systems, testing, etc.
  • Prepare reports and publications.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management and/or project administration.
  • Very good verbal and written skills in Swedish and English.
  • Class B driver's license (manual transmission).

We are looking for someone who is structured and has developed collaborative skills, social skills both internally and with external contacts, with the ability to build and maintain networks. You have good analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and can deliver good results at different paces.

Merits

  • Experience and knowledge regarding the Swedish Armed Forces' development activities.
  • Knowledge of the Air Force's base systems.
  • Experience working with the PRIO (SAP) system.
  • Completed combatant training.

You are unpretentious and have the ability to learn from experiences. You adapt easily to new roles and circumstances with an interdisciplinary perspective and possess good communication skills. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
