Are you a qualified assistant nurse and want to make life easier for other people in their own homes? Do you enjoy a mobile job with varied tasks? Then working in home care might be right for you! We are currently looking for a new colleague for Cura Home Care.

The unit focuses on individuals with dementia. We assist clients throughout Lidköping Municipality.

Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you will work to provide support, service, and care tailored to the client's needs. This may include social support, household chores, assistance with hygiene, walks, administering medication, or other delegated tasks. Your workday is determined by the clients' needs, and you work with an activating approach.

In your role as a permanent care contact for one or more clients, you are the one who builds a secure and sustainable relationship between colleagues, your clients, and their relatives. As a permanent care contact, you are responsible for establishing, following up on, and revising care plans. Your work includes ongoing documentation.

It is natural for you to work independently but also to collaborate actively in a team. Everyone in the team cooperates based on their competence and a holistic view of the client.

Qualifications

• For this position, we seek someone who has completed and passed a care and social service education. For employment, you must attach transcripts to your application verifying your eligibility as an assistant nurse, along with a grade in Swedish 1 or equivalent at upper secondary level.
• You have the ability to create security and to meet and understand the client's needs. For you, it is natural to have a professional approach in your work, and you should feel secure in your professional role and be responsive. You have a positive attitude and take responsibility for contributing to a positive work climate and your own development.
• Since social documentation and communication are important in your work, you need good knowledge of Swedish and good computer skills.
• You must have a B-class driver's license.
• You must be able to cycle.

Merits

• Previous work and/or advanced knowledge and education in the field of dementia, e.g., YH Dementia, is a merit.

Terms

• We are looking for an assistant nurse for a permanent position with a start date to be agreed upon.
• The employer offers full-time employment, but there is an opportunity for a desired employment rate.
• You will work scheduled hours including days, evenings, and weekends. We work 50% of the weekends.
• Your primary workplace will be the Cura Home Care unit, but you are employed by Lidköping Municipality as a whole, so work at other units may occur.
