About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Hindås Health Center! We are a smaller health center with approximately 4,000 registered patients, serving a mix of newly arrived families with children and the local elderly population.

The health center is centrally located in the growing town of Hindås, with excellent commuting options by bus and train from both Gothenburg and Borås. Bus stops and free parking are available in close proximity to the health center.

Our facilities include diabetes and asthma/COPD clinics, a psychologist, a counselor, and a rehabilitation coordinator. Our Child Health Care (BVC) is part of the town's highly appreciated Family Center, located in the same building as the health center. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with Härryda Municipality regarding home care and special housing, providing close and practical cooperation regarding our patients.

Hindås Health Center has a stable and cohesive staff where we know each other well and help each other in our work. As a small unit, we work closely across professional boundaries, with short decision-making paths and the opportunity to influence working methods and solutions. Here, you will be involved in the big picture and work broadly, while we maintain a good working climate where we have fun at work.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a broad and varied field, covering the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and in various situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treating capacity in primary care, via telephone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. In this role, you have close collaboration with your colleagues at the unit and in the interdisciplinary team, as well as with other actors such as home care and specialized care. At a smaller health center, this means you gain a holistic perspective on patients and the opportunity to work flexibly and solution-oriented.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an asset if you have experience working in primary care and/or have a supervisor education (7.5 ECTS credits), but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks. You thrive in an environment where one sometimes needs to think broadly, collaborate closely, and help each other across boundaries.

In meetings with patients, you are accommodating, attentive, and have a genuine desire to help others. You enjoy teamwork and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and other actors. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We appreciate an interest in digitalization and operational development.

Other Details

  • The position is 50% employment.
  • Travel in the course of duty occurs; a B-class driver's license is required.
  • Interviews at the health center will be held continuously during the application period.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters at the HR department who invite candidates to a telephone interview. Subsequently, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on factual situations. It is important that you describe situations as concretely as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
