About the Workplace

Clinical Pathology & Cytology Halland is a laboratory that works with high quality and good accessibility in conventional cell morphology and cytodiagnostics. We are continuously developing future methods in immunohistochemistry and molecular biology and are working systematically with quality assurance.

The largest staff category is biomedical analysts, but you will also have cytodiagnosticians, laboratory assistants, laboratory aides, medical secretaries, mortuary staff, and doctors as colleagues. We have a good cohesion in the staff group and continuously work on workplace environment issues through a well-being group, APT, and continuous improvements. We look forward to having you as a colleague. Within Medical Diagnostics, there is good collaboration within and across specialty boundaries, all to ensure that our patients receive the best possible diagnostics and to create efficient processes. We are about 65 people working in the clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed biomedical analyst. We also accept applications from individuals with similar higher education that we assess as equivalent. If you have previous experience working in the hematology section and/or bone marrow lab, we consider it an advantage as we have a vacant position in our bone marrow lab.

The position will be either part-time in the bone marrow lab and part-time in the histopathology lab or a pure histopathology position depending on who applies and your experience.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills, communication skills, and you are willing to share your knowledge in a quality-conscious manner, thus contributing to the development of the organization. Furthermore, we see that you have good initiative and thrive in an organization that is evolving. You possess qualities such as accuracy, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize.

Your experience and competence are assessed to complement and strengthen the development work within the department. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
