We are looking for nurses for both summer temporary positions and permanent employment in one of Sweden's leading teams in specialized urological care.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in our urological ward, you will work with the care of patients with acute medical conditions such as kidney stone pain, hematuria, and urosepsis, catheter care, pre- and post-operative care, pain management, and other symptomatic treatments. Urology includes both acute and non-acute diseases of the upper and lower urinary tract in men and women, as well as in the male reproductive organs. We perform robotic surgery for prostatectomies, cystectomies, and nephrectomies.

You will be part of a team with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries where good cooperation and team spirit are in focus. The department is facing an exciting future, and we are investing in improvement work with more protocol-driven care. About the Workplace

At the Urology Clinic, we work with specialized urological care in Halland. The clinic consists of over 70 employees. We have outpatient services in Varberg, Kungsbacka, and Halmstad, including contact nurses, urotherapists, cystoscopists, doctors, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. The inpatient ward is located in Varberg and receives patients from all over Halland.

We are a cheerful and wonderful group where everyone helps each other, creating a safe and enjoyable workplace! We believe that effective rounds, clear routines, and continuity are important. To allow more time for patients, you will receive support in both administrative tasks and in care-related services such as cleaning, storage, patient kitchens, etc. With us, nurses and nursing assistants work in teams with a strong focus on development and improvement work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Some years of professional experience are advantageous but not a requirement. Based on your experiences, we offer you a structured introduction and ongoing professional development. Experience in urology and inpatient care is a plus.
