Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with a university degree in the field of environmental and health protection or another natural science degree that the employer assesses as equivalent.

We preferably want you to have one year of experience in environmental and health protection supervision, good knowledge of current legislation, and a solid understanding of governmental work. Knowledge of the case management system Ecos 2 is an advantage.

Contact with the public, entrepreneurs, and other authorities is a significant part of daily work, so it is important that you have good communication skills and can express yourself in an easily understandable way in both speech and writing.

In your work, you have a good sense of service and collaboration, and you should also be able to work independently. You have the ability to see the big picture, are responsible, confident in your governmental duties, and attentive. It is important to us that your personal qualities and experience contribute to a good development in the department. For the job, you need a B driver's license to get around our municipality.

About Us

The Environmental and Urban Planning Administration makes long-term plans for how Hässleholm Municipality, with its city, towns, and villages, will develop with housing, parks, and roads. The administration handles building permits and works with supervision and advice for, among other things, water and sewage facilities and waste management. Measurement, mapping, and property formation as well as food and chemical supervision are also part of the assignment.

In the environmental department, 29 people work divided into five groups: agriculture, sewage, health protection, environmental protection, and food. The department also works with energy and climate advice and has its own administration.
