Norrdala is looking for nursing assistants for two permanent positions and a parental substitute until December 31, 2026

Our residence is located in the northwestern part of Lund.

Here we have access to free parking, charging stations for electric cars, and good connections with public transport. Norrdala is a single-story residence with 46 apartments, divided into six smaller departments, four of which focus on cognitive impairment. All departments have outdoor areas and good opportunities for garden activities as well as games at our pétanque court. Our tandem bike is a popular activity that creates strong bonds between residents and staff as the bike is ridden through the beautiful green areas.

About the roles and tasks

As a nursing assistant at Norrdala, you plan your workday based on the residents' wishes. You provide support with personal care, meals, and activities. Your role also includes performing delegated tasks, designing implementation plans, documenting in Lifecare, evaluating, and contributing to maintaining good quality in the operations. We follow up on quality in national registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert.

You collaborate in a team with other professional groups with the resident at the center. We work based on the national value foundation within elderly care where the key words are self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation. You focus on the residents' wishes and needs and strive to make everyday life meaningful for them.

We are looking for

someone who has a degree as a nursing assistant. You enjoy responsibility and are confident in your nursing assistant role.

You need to be able to work both independently and in a team. Have good communication skills and an approach that promotes a good work environment. Have good empathetic ability which you demonstrate by being able to put yourself in another person's situation.

General computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, are necessary for documentation and communication in the workplace.

Employment at 100% scheduled working hours during the day/evening and every other weekend. The full-time measure is 36.33 hours per week.
