Your role

In the role of surveyor, you are an important part of the team that delivers geodetic data to our internal customers. You work closely with the business and contribute to creating safe, efficient, and qualitative data for both planning and execution of work. You will be part of a self-driven group where clear dialogue with clients, a strong sense of responsibility, and a good understanding of the customer's needs are crucial for success in the role.

Responsibilities

The workweek varies depending on assignments. During larger measurement efforts, the entire team works together and continuously follows up on the work. For your own assignments, you plan based on the customer's needs and manage communication with clients. The role also involves daily collaboration with internal stakeholders, as well as ongoing contact with external parties within the framework of your projects.

In the long run, you will take on greater overall responsibility where you independently drive your own projects from start to delivery. You will also be involved in developing our methods and working practices and actively contribute to improving and automating our measurement solutions.

The position is primarily based above ground, but work underground may also occur.

What you bring with you

You are a team player with drive and a desire to develop. You take responsibility and easily understand the customer's needs, while also being collaborative and enjoying working closely with both internal and external clients. You are proactive, loyal, and contribute to a safe and stable work environment. We also see that you are solution-oriented and analytical, with an interest in technology development and improvement work.

In addition, you have:

  • Post-secondary education in surveying technology
  • Experience working as a survey technician
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Driver's license B

Meritorious:

  • Experience or knowledge of LKAB's operations
  • Experience working in a mining environment
  • Experience in project work
  • Experience with relevant measurement programs and systems
