Workshop Employee / Industrial Worker – Mechanical Work and Welding

Do you want to work in a practical and technical profession where mechanical work is the focus? Do you have experience in workshop work and welding and thrive in a role where you can work both independently and in a team? Then this could be the right opportunity for you.

About the Position

At our client in Luleå, you will work with qualified mechanical workshop work related to service, repair, and renovation of generators, electric motors, and other electrical equipment for the industry. The work is fundamentally mechanical and also includes welding as a natural part of daily tasks.

As a workshop employee, you will have a varied and technically developing role where your tasks include:

  • Troubleshooting, service, and renovation of technical and industrial equipment
  • Extensive mechanical work such as disassembly, assembly, and adjustment of various components
  • Welding as well as repair and reinforcement of machine parts and structures
  • Replacement of wear parts and preventive mechanical maintenance
  • Manufacturing and adapting parts according to the needs of the business
  • Working in a workshop environment in close collaboration with colleagues

The work is carried out in a clean and structured workshop environment, weekdays from 07:00 to 16:00.

The position is full-time and starts as a consulting assignment via Adecco for the first six months, with the ambition to subsequently transition into a direct employment with the company. Start date is as soon as possible.

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys physical and practical work and has a genuine technical interest. You are curious, want to develop, and contribute with a positive attitude in the team.

We see that you:

  • Have experience as a mechanic, workshop worker, or from industrial operations
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Are meticulous and quality-conscious in your work

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Practical education in vehicles, electricity, technology, or industry
  • Hot Work certificate
  • Forklift and overhead crane license

As a person, you are flexible and can adapt when the pace or tasks vary between different projects. You remain calm even when there is a lot to do and find it easy to collaborate. Helping others and asking for support when needed is a given for you. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
