Your role

The mine planning team in Malmberget is now looking for a survey engineer. Here, you will be part of a positive and engaged team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

In the role of survey engineer, you will work with analysis and processing of measurement data as well as maintaining the mine map. You will also work with surveying and setting out above ground, as well as GNSS measurements of ground deformations. Tasks such as UAV measurements may also be included. The position is primarily located above ground, but work underground may also occur.

An important part of the role is to develop both existing and new working methods to strengthen the business going forward. It is also important for the workplace to have knowledge sharing among employees, which is why internal training within the workgroup is included.

What you bring with you

We are looking for a person who is meticulous and structured, with a good ability to communicate and build strong collaborations. You take responsibility and enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues. With a desire to develop and an interest in solving problems, you contribute to driving the work forward and creating good conditions for a safe and efficient job.

In addition to this, you have:

Post-secondary education in surveying (at least two years)
Driving license B (manual)

Meritorious:

Previous work in a mining environment
Experience as a survey engineer
Experience with the software and measuring equipment used in the role
