Job Responsibilities

In the role of Measurement Technician at SITE, you will work operationally in construction, civil engineering, and industrial projects where accuracy and quality are crucial. You will be responsible for ensuring that measurements are carried out correctly, that documentation meets high technical standards, and that measurement data can be used as a reliable decision support in the projects. The work is conducted in close collaboration with project managers and other technical roles, where you contribute with your specialist expertise.

Your tasks will include:

• Performing measurements and controls on construction and civil engineering projects using both total stations and GNSS.
• Conducting precision measurements with handheld scanners in construction projects.
• Ensuring that measurement data is accurate and reliable.
• Collaborating with project managers and other technicians to maintain the highest standards.
• Documenting and reporting measurement results.
• Participating in quality controls and risk assessments.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for someone with an education in measurement technology or equivalent and who has gained experience in measurement work, preferably within construction or civil engineering projects. You have worked with measurement tools and software such as AutoCAD and Trimble, or similar.

A valid driver's license (B) is required, as the job involves travel within projects in Norrbotten.

Furthermore, we believe that you are meticulous, structured, and take responsibility for your work. You have a solution-oriented approach, are proactive, and thrive in an environment where not all answers are readily available from the start. With a positive attitude and good communication skills, you enjoy collaborating with different functions in projects while feeling confident in making your own decisions within your area of responsibility.
