We are now looking for four team leaders who want to follow participants through the entire process and support them through activities towards work and studies.

Together with colleagues, you will help create the conditions for a new organization and new working methods within the labor market area related to the activity requirement.

As of July 1, 2026, new national activity requirements will be introduced for individuals receiving financial assistance. The reform means that municipalities will have an even more important role in supporting individuals on their path to work, studies, and self-sufficiency. This means that individuals who have received financial assistance for at least three months must participate in full-time activities that strengthen their opportunities to approach the labor market. The municipality will thus have an expanded responsibility to offer relevant interventions, such as language instruction, studies, job-seeking activities, and work placements.

The position is located in the labor market unit and involves close collaboration with the Social Administration, with the opportunity to help develop working methods between social services and labor market interventions. Working hours are during the day.

The position requires presence at the workplace Monday to Friday.

Start date is according to agreement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a team leader, you will support participants on their way to work or studies through motivational conversations, individual support, and clear planning. You will work both strategically and operationally by mapping the individual's conditions, developing action plans, and following the participant through the entire process.

Your role includes coordinating interventions with authorities and other partners, as well as creating contacts with employers and organizing workplace-based activities. You are responsible for documenting, evaluating, and adapting activities according to the individual's development. Workplace environment tasks related to the participants are included in the assignment. As a team leader, you will work both indoors and outdoors depending on the activities.

You will collaborate closely with, among others, the Social Administration, the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, and other employers and educational providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education or other education/work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Experience in leading others and familiarity with a coaching approach
• Work experience in labor market policy issues
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license B

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with the operational systems Skills and Combine

You have good communication skills and are skilled at building trusting relationships both with the individuals you support and with your colleagues. You work independently and take responsibility for your assignment, while also having strong collaboration skills and being ready to support colleagues when needed. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
