JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an accounting assistant, you will work closely with others in the finance department. The position includes a range of finance-related tasks such as VAT reporting, statistical reporting, and working with and being able to develop the flow of supplier and customer invoices. The tasks may evolve if you are the right person, and this requires that you are always ready to take on new challenges and tasks. The responsibilities include bookkeeping, reconciliation, and ongoing investigation of balance accounts. The tasks may be redistributed over time if the business requires it. You are expected to support and assist the accounting group during absences or as needed.

You are also expected to contribute to the development of accounting processes in consultation with the head of the finance unit. Work with monthly, interim, and annual financial statements is part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in finance and at least one year of experience in finance and accounting. You have extensive computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). You are used to working independently but enjoy collaborating with others. You seek solutions, are analytical, creative, outgoing, flexible, and proactive. It is important that you have a good relationship with customers and colleagues. Experience working in a politically governed organization, experience working with limited companies, and familiarity with Agresso or other business systems are advantageous.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities such as teamwork and pedagogical skills.
