We are Balder! Do you want to work closely with the business and help develop Balder's retail properties? We are strengthening our organization and looking for a Retail Marketing Strategist, a new role with us, who wants to drive commercial development, contribute to increased rental income, and help create stronger and more attractive shopping destinations with the customer's customer in focus. The role has a clear focus on increasing revenue, maximizing the potential of the portfolio, and working strategically and long-term to achieve good financial results in a sustainable and business-oriented manner.

About the role As a retail marketing strategist, you will be responsible for developing and driving the commercial marketing strategy for our retail properties. The role is closely linked to the business, and you will work closely with the leasing organization and management with the goal of strengthening our shopping destinations and increasing tenant turnover.

You will also work with overarching initiatives within the business area and collaborate with three local marketing managers to create structure, prioritization, and follow-up in the marketing work. The role involves travel in the job.

Your main responsibilities In this role, you will work on developing location and positioning strategies for our shopping destinations, as well as analyzing turnover, visitor flows, and market conditions. You will contribute to strengthening the brand of the shopping destinations and ensure that marketing efforts create business value. The role serves as an important bridge between marketing and leasing. A central part of the work is also to set relevant KPIs and follow up and evaluate the results of implemented efforts.

We are looking for you who has experience in commercial marketing within retail, shopping center development, and who is both analytical and business-driven. Perhaps you are currently working as a shopping center developer or marketing manager and feel ready for the next step in your career, where you will have greater strategic responsibility and the opportunity to truly impact the business.

You thrive on responsibility and are self-driven; there are no ready-made manuals to follow here, but you will help create them. You have the ability to create structure and direction in your work, take your own initiatives, and ensure that things actually get done.

You have an informal leadership style and the ability to gather people around common goals. At the same time, you are motivated by working closely with the business where your efforts contribute to concrete value creation, and you report to the leasing manager.
