Job Description

In the role of Category Buyer, you will be responsible for strategically and operationally leading and developing assigned purchasing categories. You will work to ensure the highest quality, regulatory compliance, and cost-efficiency in line with the company's set goals and budget. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies based on spend and supplier analysis, as well as risk and compliance assessments.
- Present reports and strategic decision-making materials to the management team and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the procurement team to achieve cost savings and departmental KPIs.
- Conduct market benchmarking and trend analysis to identify new business and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage the entire end-to-end procurement process: from sourcing and contract negotiation to order creation, payment follow-up, and contract management.
- Drive process improvements and develop procurement routines to secure influence in early decision-making stages.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance regarding quality, delivery precision, and compliance.
Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
- Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, or another relevant field.
- Documented experience in successful contract negotiations and supplier management.
- Proficiency in systems and experience working in ERP systems.
- Work experience within Europe.
- Very good proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
